The PPEM Steering Committee meets once a year in San Francisco just prior to the Fall AGU Meeting. We invite e-mail and other correspondence from the PPEM community regarding special sessions, newsletter articles, nominations to the committee, opportunities, challenges, and new goals. Members of the Steering Committee serve for three years. Each year, three members of the Steering Committee rotate off and new members must be identified. Every three years, a new Chairman is appointed. New Committee members and the Chairman are nominated by the PPEM membership and elected by the presiding Committee. Make your nominations by contacting any current Committee member. The PPEM Committee Chairman reports on activities to the MRP Committee. In turn, PPEM goals are furthered by leadership and representation within AGU by MRP. The PPEM Community benefits from MRP and Tectonophysics representation on the AGU Program Committee, and contributions of our Newsletter Editors, Fine Dining Search Team, Webmeister, and e-mail address Curator. The PPEM Community is fortunate to be represented within AGU by the All-Union Mineral and Rock Physics Committee. You may contact any member of the MRP Committee or the MRP Representative on the AGU Program Committee
We also benefit greatly from the efforts of a number of PPEM members, who have offered their services to facilitate several critical means of communication: |
