Members of the PPEM Community are encouraged to organize and contribute to Special Sessions at the Annual AGU Meeting held each Fall and Joint Assemblies held each Spring. In particular, we are interested in developing interdisciplinary Special Sessions that explore applications of rock mechanics and materials science approaches to a broad range of geophysical problems. Please feel free to contact any member of the PPEM Steering Committee regarding your ideas for innovative sessions that may address provocative topics or further the exchange of ideas. Feel free to contact members of the AGU program committee who can help facilitate your Special Session, inform you of other, related sessions and critical deadlines for entering your session into the program. We are privileged to have members of the Program Committee who represent Mineral and Rock Physics as well as Tectonophysics.
